24″ EARLY CLOCKWORK BING BATTLESHIP.

24″ EARLY CLOCKWORK BING BATTLESHIP. Not often found early Bing battleship circa 1910-1920 with intricate detailing including eight movable turrets and four stacks and propelled in water by clockwork motor. The boat is in original as-found condition and in need of a thorough cleaning to enhance its beauty and appeal. Original masts are present but front mast is lacking lower half. Six of the eight turrets are present but two smaller side turrets have been lost in battle. Original diamond shaped Bing tag present and located between center smoke stacks. Original key present. CONDITION: Overall condition is good to very good, in need of cleaning and straightening and some minor straightening to railings and gun barrels. Lacking 1-1/2″ strap tin piece between rudder and keel. 1-7888 (3,000-5,000)
