EXTREMELY EARLY RARE STEPHENS’ INK CARDBOARD SIGN. Gold cartouche with black lettering on glossy coated stock. Style very typical of the 1840s-50’s period. SIZE: 10″ x 8 1/2″ excluding mat and frame. CONDITION: Very Good. Slight oxidation (this being exceptionally nice for an early coated stock piece). Upper left corner clipped. 1-27927 (700 –900)
