SCARCE SHORT BBL CARBINE SADDLE SCABBARD. Appears to be for a 16″-18″ Winchester carbine made from 1-pc saddle leather, folded & sewn with strap cuts on front & rear. Edges have lightly rolled decorations & there is a maker’s mark at top which consists of an arm & hammer with anvil & horseshoe. Saddle straps are present. CONDITION: Very good. Retains good orig color, flexed with finish loss on folded edge & with some sweat staining on back & near top. Fine scabbard. 4-57613 JR566 (300-500)
