ALTERED TOWER MODEL 1858 MUSKET. Cal. .58, 30-3/4” round bbl, dated 1862 on the lockplate. Bbl and stock have been cut, the sling swivels are missing and the rear sight and ramrod are reproductions. The front 18” of the stock are replaced with the join under rear bbl band. CONDITION: Rust brown patina overall with moderate pitting at the breech. Stock has been cleaned and sanded but not refinished. 4-47828 FS81 (150-300)
