LARGE I.W. HARPER WHISKEY REVERSE ON GLASS SIGN. Classic image of an elderly well dressed grandfather taking a break from reading Harper’s Weekly to enjoy a shot of I.W. Harper whiskey as his three grandchildren look on, the youngest of whom tries to grab his bottle, much to the amusement of all present. Signed in lower right I.H. Kiefer 1904. Housed in its original frame with a plaque that reads “The Kind Your Grandfather Used”. The frame has been augmented by a secondary exterior frame. SIZE: Image size 35-1/2” h x 23-1/2” w. CONDITION: Nice bright vivid colors throughout, small portion of lower right corner appears to have some water damage with some flaking along bottom edge, not affecting the image in any way. Minor chips and scuffs to the frame, otherwise very good to near excellent. AT 1-7023 (1,500-2,500)
