CARVED FIGURE OF SHOU LAO. 20th century or earlier, China (probably Fujian Province). The carved wood figure with flowing robes polychrome painted holding a staff mounted on carved rockwork. SIZE: 7″ h. CONDITION: Old repair to upper portion of staff above hand. Also, small areas of abrasion to headdress and to sleeve of robe, right arm. Small loss to rockwork, otherwise good. 7-73203 (200-300)
