PARKER UNDERHAMMER PISTOL. Cal. 36. 16-1/2″ part octagonal bbl, marked “A. PARKER” on top of the bbl and “TRUMAN B HARRIS” on the left, right flats and lower right quarter flat. Parker worked in Ludlow, Vermont, around 1850. Harris has not been located and may have been the owner. The work is typical upper Connecticut Valley. The ramrod is a replacement. CONDITION: Rust/brown patina overall, cleaned in the areas of the markings. Rear sight is bent and the elevator is missing. Finish on the wood has considerable heat damage but the wood is still solid. Mechanically good. 4-52689 FS240 (600-900)
