POLYPHON UPRIGHT MUSIC BOX. Model style # 54 which plays 24 1/2″ discs.Case is walnut in wonderful condition with carved pillars on the top section of the cabinet and carved cornices on the bottom. The model # 54 was the most popular of all large Polyphon styles.Several case design variations were made, different from each other mainly with respect to the top crown and the front column.Wonderful machine.Included are 12 discs that are in the original bottom storage bin rack and 4 new discs as well.CONDITION:The coin mechanism slot has been plugged up on the side of the case which is normal but the innards are still obvious.The box plays very well and no obvious flaws.
