ALTERED SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1835 RIFLE. Cal. 69. 42” part oct bbl, converted to percussion using the Belgian system, 1842 on lockplate. The buttplate, trigger guard, bbl bands, sideplate and screws have been gold plated. The 18-1/2” socket bayonet has European proof marks and is slightly loose. The ramrod is a replica. NSN. CONDITION: All metal has been polished bright. Stock refinished. Action is very good. 4-48356 FS174 (200-400)
