ATTRIBUTED TO CICILIA BEAUX (American, 1855-1942) LITTLE MARY PAUL. Watercolor on board half portrait of a small child in white dress seated against a bluish/gray background. One hand holds a red, green and blue colored ball, the other holds a gathering of red flowers. Signed upper right “Beaux”. Housed in a gilt wood frame with gilt liner with glass. We beleive this to be the same portrait as listed in the Smithsonian Inventory of Art as No. IAP 80650074. SIZE: 15-1/2″ x 16-1/4″. CONDITION: Some light scratches in upper left corner, otherwise very good. 9-95364 (2,500-4,000)
