ASSEMBLED ROBINSON MUSKET. Cal. 61. 40” bbl. The lockplate is marked “E. ROBINSON” in an arc over “NEW YORK” in front of the hammer and dated 1864 at the rear. The bbl tang does not have a date and the bbl is unreadable due to heavy pitting. The ramrod is a reproduction. The inspector cartouches are not readable. NSN CONDITION: Rust-brown patina overall with very heavy pitting at the rear of the bbl. The rear sight is only lightly pitted. Wood has been repaired and sanded. The lock works. 4-48505 X45 (500-800)
