FRENCH FASHION DOLL WITH WOODEN ARTICULATED BODY & ACCESSORIES. Unmarked but unquestionably Jumeau with glass eyes, swivel neck on separate bisque shoulder plate and mounted to an all wooden, fully jointed fashion body and also jointed at the wrist, waist and ankles. She has lovely blue set eyes, pale bisque and is well dressed in a two piece 1870’s style walking dress with original mohair wig and braids over cork pate and an antique maroon straw bonnet with cloth flowers and feathers. She also wears Keystone leather fashion slippers. Accompanying the doll is a black parasol with a wooden stem and ivory handle, handkerchief, a wire mesh purse, an ivory fan and a leather covered valise with three separate compartments. SIZE: 17-1/2″ (45cm). CONDITION: Overall very good, forearms and hands have been repainted, costume somewhat distressed and hinges broken on leather valise. 1-8145 RS (2,500-3,500)
