HARRY GOTTLIEB (American, 1895-1992) “DEAD TREES”. Oil on canvas scene shows tree lined brook with dead trees and flock of crows. Signed lower left “Harry Gottlieb”. Housed in a carved wood frame with linen liner. The frame was probably made by the artist and has a notched edge with inner carved linked design, similar to a four leaf clover. Frame has original “A.C.A Gallery New York, New York” exhibition label with artist and title. SIZE: 22” x 30”. CONDITION: Three old canvas patches to back, otherwise very good. 9-93411 (1,500-2,500)
