LOT OF TWO EUROPEAN MUSKETS. 1) German converted musket, NSN, Cal. .73, 41-1/8” part oct bbl. Lockplate marking is not readable. The crown “FW” mark on the right side of the stock is clear. CONDITION: Rust brown patina overall with moderate pitting, heavier at the breech. Stock has normal wear. Lock is frozen. 2) Modified East India Company musket. Dated 1777 at the rear of the lockplate. Cal. .77, 34” round bbl. Bbl has been shortened, the front 21” of the stock has been replaced, and other repairs have been made to the wood. Bbl has been plugged, the frizzen has been faced. Lock is good. 4-47824 FS66 (300-500)
