MODEL 1-1/2 REMINGTON ROLLING BLOCK SPORTING RIFLE. Cal. 22. SN 2799. Lightweight sporting rifle with 28” tapered, lightweight, oct bbl, German silver front sight, small Remington, semi-buckhorn rear sight & thick base Hunter’s tang sight with 3-1/4” staff. Mounted with uncheckered, straight grain, American walnut with semi-schnable, metal tip forearm & straight stock with semi-crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl retains 93-95% orig blue, turning plum. Receiver & trigger guard retain most of their orig case colors, strong & bright on receiver, turning silver on trigger guard. Buttplate retains about 75% dark case colors. Breechblock & hammer retain 75-80% glossy blue.
