*UBERTI ABRAHAM LINCOLN COMMEMORATIVE REPRODUCTION HENRY RIFLE. Cal. 44-40. SN JD086. Usual Henry appearance with 24-1/4″ oct bbl with integral magazine tube. It has thick German silver front sight & Henry style ladder rear sight in bbl dovetail with a receiver dovetail also. Top flat is marked “HENRY’S PATENT” with date. Left side has Uberti name & address with proof marks & right side flat has caliber. Mounted with very highly figured uncheckered walnut with straight grip & a semi-crescent buttplate. Receiver is engraved in pattern of Abraham Lincoln’s Henry consisting of foliate arabesque patterns, flowers & feather borders. Right side has an oval vignette inscribed “LINCOLN / PRESIDENT / U.S.A” Bottom of carrier is marked “AL092”. Buttplate tang & edge of buttplate are engraved to match. Bottom tang also has maker’s name & address along with serial number, catalogue number & proof marks. Receiver, magazine follower, trigger, hammer & buttplate are all gold plated. If lever is not forcefully closed, carrier will not completely descend & will lock bolt in place until carrier is manually pushed down. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, as new. Retains virtually all of its orig factory finish to both metal & wood. Appears to be unfired. 4-57633 JR397 (1,500-2,500)
