MASON MODEL 1863 MUSKET WITH BAYONET. Cal. .58, 48” bbl, dated 1863 on the lock, the marking on the bbl tang is unreadable due to pitting, the nipple has been welded into place. The rear side and swing swivels are missing, the ramrod and bayonet are replacements. CONDITION: Moderate to heavy pitting overall, the stock has been repaired and coated with grease and or varnish.
