She is seated on a large red sofa with red curtain and landscape background. She holds in her lap a basket of flowers. Beautifully done in wonderful colors. Housed in a gilt frame liner. This portrait is an unidentified Colgate Family member. PROVENANCE: Colgate Family of Colgate/Palmolive Co. and Colgate University. SIZE: 36” x 29”. CONDITION: Wax relining, some spot inpainting.
