ROBBINS, KENDALL & LAWRENCE MODEL 1842 MISSISSIPPI RIFLE. NSN. Cal. 54. 33” round bbl. Dated 1847 on the lockplate. The date on the tang is not readable. The “WAT” cartouche on the left side of the stock is readable, the other is not. The spare nipple remains in the patchbox. CONDITION: Gray-brown patina overall with light to moderate pitting around the breech. The brass has a dark patina, the wood has normal handling marks but appears to have been lightly sanded.
