*LOT OF TWO WINCHESTER LEVER ACTION RIFLES. (1) Deluxe Model 71. Cal. 348 WCF. SN 37725. Blue finish, 24” rnd bbl, half magazine, ramp front sight with hood & standard rear sight, factory checkered walnut stock & forearm with checkered steel buttplate. It has deluxe swivel bases in stock & forend cap. CONDITION: Very good. Retains 93-95% orig overall metal finish. Three extra holes have been drilled in receiver for side mount scope, otherwise a clean sharp Model 71. Interior of mechanism hardly used. Couple of light scratches on bottom of receiver, couple of scuff marks on forend cap. Light marring here & there on the wood, checkering is still sharp & buttstock retains most of an old restore finish. Forearm has most of its orig finish There is a tiny 1/4” repairable crack on heel of butt. Mechanics & bore are fine. (2) Model 64. Cal. 30-30. SN 2042638. Standard grade rifle, blued finish, 24” rnd bbl, 2/3 magazine, standard sights, uncheckered walnut wood. CONDITION: Very good. Retains about 80% thinning orig blue. Wood is sound & stock retains about 60% orig varnish with traces on forearm with balance a hand rubbed patina. Slight scattered dings & dents over the buttstock & forearm. There are a few wear spots with one bright spot about half way up the bbl. Edge wear on lower edge of receiver. Mechanics & bore are both fine. A good honest used ’64. 4-57949 ET60 (1,500-2,500)
