DURAND (American, Last half of the 19th Century) PAIR OF WHITE MOUNTAIN LANDSCAPES. Two unframed identical size oil on canvas scenes show a river with falls leading to tall mountains. Late summer/early fall foliage, one including two cows. Both signed lower right “Durand 81″. SIZE: 28″ x 16”. CONDITION: Yellowing varnish layer, each with one patch on reverse with corresponding inpainting. Otherwise very good. 9-93778 (600-800)
