*REMINGTON MODEL 03A4 SNIPER RIFLE. SN 3418671. Cal. 30-06. Fine American sniper with 24″ “8-43” dated bbl without sights. Receiver ring has had the markings low on the side to accommodate the scope base. Mounted with a parkerized Redfield Junior base and parkerized rings containing a Weaver Model 330 scope that has the electric pencil inscription “TELESCOPE M73B1 / SERIAL NO. 5596” on the right rear side. The scope has blue finish with the remains of a decal, probably from the military, between the rings. Mounted in a nicely figured Type C stock with an “SA” cartouche in a rectangle over a “K” inspector mark. It has the large circle “P” proof on bottom of grip and has the stamped trigger guard/floorplate. Bbl bands and bayonet lug are stamped sheet metal as is the front sling loop. Buttplate is checkered with a trap. CONDITION: Extremely fine, as new, possibly unfired. Retains virtually all of its orig factory finish to both metal & wood. Scope is equally new with a couple of minor scratches, crisp optics. Wood is sound with a few minor nicks & scratches and retains a fine hand polished finish.
