GILT FEDERAL MIRROR. First quarter 19th century. The stepped molded cornice with pendant spherules above a square eglomise panel depicting a connected house within a landscape above a rectangular mirror plate flanked by concave pilasters each with spiral fretwork. The reverse having a “Todd’s” clipped newspaper advertisement. James Todd worked in Portland, Maine. SIZE: 23-1/4″ h x 14″ at widest. CONDITION: Break in eglomise panel, otherwise very good. 8-87648 (100-200)
