WAR CLUB, PLAINS, POSSIBLY SIOUX LATE 19TH CENTURY. 1) Of traditional form: stone head, beads on sinew wrapped around leather bound wooden haft. Size: 14” long. CONDITION: Three sections of beads missing; partially wrapped mid-sections with wax nylon cord. 2) Of traditional form, dbl pointed stone head, beads on sinew wrapped around leather and rawhide surrounding wooden haft. Size: 27” long. CONDITION: Short section of beads loosely wrapped but not broken. 1/3 of beads missing at butt end. 4-56865 BL1 (500-700)
