FRAMED AUTOGRAPH: EDGAR LEE MASTERS; POET (American, 1869-1950). This collage includes a typed letter dated December 17, 1929 on Masters stationary and signed in pen “E L Masters”. The letter is in regards to a purchaser of several of his books. Also included in a First Day Cover honoring Edgar Lee Masters, dated 1970 with stamp, two photographs and a program cover from a play “Spoon River Anthology” directed by Elwyn Dearborn. Housed in a gilt wood frame with white matte having five cutouts. SIZE: Total: 20″ x 20″. PROVENANCE: Collection of Elwyn Dearborn, Medford, NJ & Portland, ME. CONDITION: Very good, signature is bold, letter has folds. 9-96143 (150-250)
