NEW ENGLAND SHERATON CARVED MAHOGANY DROP LEAF TABLE. Circa 1830. The rectangular top fitted with conforming hinged leaves projecting above a figured mahogany frieze, raised on nicely carved spool turned spiral twist cylindrical tapered legs raised on brass-capped casters. Two swing legs designed for leaf support. SIZE: 28-1/2″ h x 48″ d x 22″ w (closed) 61-1/2″ w (open) PROVENANCE: From an Ellsworth, Maine Estate. CONDITION: Structurally very good. Top slightly faded.
