ARTHUR JAMES BEAUMONT (American, 1877-1956) HELPING IN THE GARDEN. Oil on canvas scene shows a Colonial home surrounded by tall trees but having an open yard with a bountiful flower garden. A woman with two children are tending to the garden while on the other side are large pots with flowers in bloom. A nice colorful scene. Signed bottom right “Beaumont”. Housed in an antique painted and gilt wood frame. SIZE: 18″ x 28″. CONDITION: Very good, one small puncture in tree which has patch. 9-94342 (1,000-1,500)
