INDIAN MADE LATE 19TH CENTURY MAN’S PLAINS BREASTPLATE, (POSSIBLY SIOUX). Constructed of 4-1/2” length bone hair pipes, glass and brass trade beads, and harness leather thongs and spacers. An important decorative feature of this breastplate is the fact that alternate hair pipes are painted red, giving a striking appearance to the pc. Size: 17” long.
