INDIAN MADE LATE 19TH CENTURY PLAINS WOMAN’S NECKLACE. Constructed of bone hair pipes, glass beads including “basket beads,” “tile beads,” and white “bugle beads” used in imitation of dentalium shells. Small brass tacks adorn the leather spacers. Note white olivella shells suspended at bottom. Size: 34” long. CONDITION: One strand of basket beads detached at one end with all but two beads present. Some paint-lining from the clear basket beads typically flaked away. 4-55244 BL26 (900-1,400)
