AMERICAN CENTENNIAL CHIPPENDALE CARVED MAHOGANY MIRROR. 19th century. Rectangular mirrorplate within an incised gilt surround within a molded frame. Deeply scalloped and scrolled crest centering a pierced gilt feather decoration. Figured mahogany apron similarly carved. SIZE: 36″ h x 20″ w. CONDITION: With old professional repair to crest and to proper left ear. Good patina and rich color. Retains original mirrorplate and backboard. 9-22030 (500-700)
