LOT OF QUANAH PARKER’S WATCH WITH BEADE CARRYING POUCH AND PHOTOGRAPH OF QUANAH PARKER. 1) Silver pocket watch: engraved on reverse, “Comanche Chief Quanah Parker”, shield motif, two bird heads with wings and other motifs stamped on front cover; Elgin National Watch Company, Elgin, Illinois. SN 1112639, manufactured 1882-1883. Size: Diameter of watch proper 2-3/16”, overall measurement including ring and stem 3-1/4”. CONDITION: No apparent damage, minute scratches from use, silver somewhat dulled. 2) Beaded carrying pouch with typical Commanche motif and heavy patina on reverse. SIZE: 13”long, 3-1/4” diameter. CONDITION: General surface soiling on unbeaded side. Fringes somewhat stiff. 3) Photograph: modern print of Quanah Parker standing in front of a tipi, copied from a historic photograph taken circa 1900. Size: 11” x 14”. CONDITION: Unbeaded back slightly crackled, surface soiled; no apparent damage nor missing beads. 4-55261 (8,000-12,000)
