SET OF 6 SHERATON FANCY CHAIRS. Mid 19th Century. Each side chair in the Hitchcock style faux grained and stencil-decorated with fruit-filled urns, gilt-decorated with anthemion devices, the pillow crests joined to back swept styles with rolled ears. The trapezoidal woven seats raised on cylindrical turned legs joined by box stretches. SIZE: 35″ h PROVENANCE: Collection of Elwyn Dearborn, Medford, NJ & Portland, ME. CONDITION: Very good overall, retaining original finish and original seats. No breaks or damages noted. 9-96063 (600-1,200)
