SIOUX MAN’S LEGGINGS, PLAINS, CIRCA 1940’S. Unpainted commercial hide, grayish-white in color, heavily fringed along outer margin, and leather belt tie at top. Each decorated with a woven beadwork strip with seven tipi designs in multiple colors. Driebe 1997, pg 309. Size: Legging proper 30” long x 11-1/2” wide. CONDITION: General use wear and spotting overall. Near bottom of left legging two small holes on front and one larger hole on back; no damage to beadwork. 4-55256 (800-1,200)
