CARL MOON”S POUCH, EARLY 20TH CENTURY. Made from a Southern Plains buckskin dress yoke, including the scalloped bottom margin (decorated with picot bead edging). Made of tanned deerskin adorned with multicolor seed beads, including the initial “K”. Moon changes the spelling of his name in 1917 from a “c” to a “K”. See Driebe 1997, pg 42. Size: 17-1/2” long x 15-1/2” high. CONDITION: Light soiling, no apparent bead loss. 4-55262 (200-300)
