MONITOR STOVES AND RANGES PORCELAIN SIGN. Early one-sided sign from the Wm. Resor & Co., Cincinnati, O. for their Monitor brand of stoves and ranges. The U.S.S. Civil War era “Monitor” submarine was created as a lithographic transfer. Bottom is marked “National Enameling Co.”, which dates this sign to circa 1895-1915. SIZE: 15″ w x 18″ t. CONDITION: Overall very good with porcelain loss to areas around the perimeter edges. 1-13062 (400-600)
