ANTIQUE INDIAN MOCCASINS. At the time of purchase, owner was told by the Moon family that these originally belonged to Geronimo and were made around 1880. Moccasins for everyday wear, uppers and soles made of commercial hide, sewn with commercial cotton cordage. A large domed silver concha secured on each side at tie thongs. Written in ink in old hand on sole of each, “Geronimo Ft. SILL, OK, 1894”. 1894 was the year Geronimo arrived at Ft. Sill, OK. Size: 11” length.
