Heavy cast iron table top treadle sewing machine in black with elaborate gold pinstriping and a hand painted vignette lettered on top “Remington Family no. 1”. Retains original patent and receiving tags (some small tears). SIZE: 11-1/2″ l x 10-1/2″ h x 7-1/2″ d. PROVENANCE: The late Terry Wesner collection, Chelsea, Michigan. CONDITION: Paint shows scattered wear and chips.
