EARLY 18TH/LATE 17TH CENTURY MINIATURE OIL OF A YOUNG MAIDEN AND A MINAITURE SILHOUETTE OF A GENTLEMAN. Each in early frames. The silhouette in an ebony frame and the miniature oil in a molded gilt frame. The reverse of the silhouette is identified as “MICHEL DE KERTSMONT”. The reverse of the oil on panel marked “? DE KERTSMONT”. The young lady dressed in an elegant dress of the day and wearing what appears to be a pearl necklace. SIZE: (oil, overall) 3-1/4” h, (image) 1-3/4” h; (silhouette, overall) 3-1/2” square, (image) 1-1/4” h. CONDITION: Frames with imperfections.
