SHARPS NEW MODEL 1863 CIVIL WAR CARBINE. SN C7172. Cal. 52. 22” rnd bbl. Only traces remain of the marking on the bbl and receiver. Lockplate markings are clear. All standard features. Front sight blade is a replacement. Entire gun has been refurbished with sanding on the stock. There is a shield shaped hole in the bottom of the buttstock. CONDITION: Rust/brown patina overall with traces of reblue showing through various places. Wood refinished. Mechanically fine. 4-55134 FS111 (1,000-1,500)
