LOT OF THREE CHINESE 19th CENTURY PORTRAITS ON GLASS. This lovely trio consists of a large early panel depicting a bearded monk, a warrior and a maiden in a kimono. Flanked by two smaller portraits of young maids holding fans. All images are painted on glass with mirrored background. Framed in nicely molded 19th Century ebony colored frames. SIZE: 27” x 19-1/2” h. Smaller panels are 16-1/2” h x 12-1/2” w. CONDITION: Antique mirrored background on large panel shows distress, particularly near the top. The remaining are generally good, some losses to frame. 8-86069 (800-1,200)
