CHARLES GEORGE COPELAND (American, 1858-1945) TWO LANDSCAPES. 1) Watercolor coastal scene with water, rocks and beach signed “Copeland”. Housed in a molded oak frame with matte. 2) Colorful watercolor scene shows a dirt road with rock wall and colorful trees. Signed lower right “Charles Copeland”. Housed in a modern gilt molded wood frame. Charles Copeland was a Thomaston, Maine artist and these probably represent Maine scenes. SIZE: Sight: 1) 9-1/4″ x 12-3/4″. 2) 14-1/2″ x 10-1/2″. PROVENANCE: E. P. George Estate of Boston, MA and Thomaston, ME. CONDITION: Very good. 9-93641 (500-1,000)
