CHARLES GEORGE COPELAND (American, 1858-1945) MAINE FARM. Outstanding watercolor scene shows a connected white farmhouse with extended red barns. It is seen in the afternoon light in an early fall scene. Signed lower left “Charles Copeland”. Housed in a painted molded wood frame with white matte. Charles Copeland was a Thomaston, Maine artist and this is probably a coastal Maine farm. SIZE: Sight: 14-1/4″ x 10-1/2″. PROVENANCE: E. P. George Estate of Boston, MA and Thomaston, ME.
