PEPSI-COLA 1907 CALENDAR TOP. Extremely rare cardboard calendar top for Pepsi-Cola features an illustration of an attractive young woman, her hair tied up in a scarlet ribbon and holding aloft a flared fountain glass etched with the word “Pepsi-Cola”. This is the identical image used on their much larger, scarce cardboard sign the same year. This example has 3 sets of staple marks along the extreme bottom margin which formally held a date pad. The size and proportion of this calendar top would indicate it may have been produced solely for a select group of Pepsi-Cola distributors or bottlers. Calendar is marked across the bottom “American Lithographic Co., NY” and “Copyright 1907 by Pepsi-Cola Co.” SIZE: 10″ w x 13-1/4″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with just a few scattered light surface scuffs, the most notable being adjacent to the factory hole at 12 o’clock. 1-12940 (4,000-6,000)
