MODEL 1860 SPENCER CARBINE. SN 15747. 20-1/4” bbl. Top of bbl flat is marked “SPENCER REPEATING RIFLE Co. BOSTON MASS, PAT’D MARCH 6, 1860”. CONDITION: Metal surfaces cleaned and refinished with spattered varnish or shellac covering these surfaces. Bore is very good. Wood sanded, refinished. No inspector’s cartouche is discernible. Several cracks in stock and apparent repair at wrist. 4-56321 JS70 (2,000-3,000)
