FINE KENDALL UNDERHAMMER RIFLE. Cal. 44. SN: 375. 20-5/8” octagonal bbl. The very deeply rifled bbl is marked “88” at the muzzle, indicating a bore diameter of about .40, but it measures .44. The ramrod and pipes are mounted on the lower right quarter flat instead of the bottom of the bbl. There is a single sling swivel on the bottom of the stock behind the triggerguard. CONDITION: Excellent overall. 85% thinning but still bright brown on the bbl, 95% deep blue on the rear sight and 98% varnish on the stock. Action is fine. 4-52633 FS120 (1,200-1,800)
