AMERICAN CHALKWARE FIGURE OF A POODLE. Mid 19th century. Depicting a standing black & white poodle, trimmed in the French style with a floral decoration on proper left shoulder and top of head, ears and tail in black paint, carved on a shaped plinth. SIZE: 7-1/2″h x 6-1/4″l. CONDITION: Original painted surfaces with losses, otherwise surfaces somewhat soiled. Structurally very good. 9-22917 (400-600)
