SHARPS NEW MODEL 1859 BERDAN’S SHARPSHOOTERS RIFLE. SN 40426. Cal. 52. 30” rnd bbl. Dbl set triggers. Only the first delivery of Berdan guns came with the dbl set triggers making this a very rare gun. There is no cartouche or inspector mark on the gun. Most of the screws have been replaced. CONDITION: Blue/brown patina overall with strong hints of orig blue showing through is spots. Good casehardening color on the lever, but mostly faded out on the patchbox and buttplate. Stock is fine with minor dents and scratches. Mechanically fine. 4-57324 FS196 (8,000-12,000)
