LOT OF TWENTY-THREE MOXIE CARDBOARD FANS. Frank Archer who was the head of Moxie’s advertising campaign, was very closely connected with the Boston theatrical business. In 1915 he began to use theatrical celebrities to market Moxie, and began producing die-cut promotional cardboard fans of popular female leading ladies of the day. The reverse side of these fans also carried Moxie ads or sheet music. All fans are framed unless noted.
