*LOT OF TWO WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 LEVER ACTION RIFLES. *(1) Cal. 38 WCF. SN 542305. Blued finish, 24-1/4” oct bbl, standard sights, crescent butt, smooth walnut stock. CONDITION: Good to very good. Bbl & magazine tube retain 50-60% orig blue mixed with light rust & patina. Receiver retains about 30% orig blue with balance a plum patina on right side with cleaned area on left with light pitting. Stock has 2-1/2” long repairable crack at toe & light mars all over. Small chip missing at upper tang area & retains 30-40% orig varnish on buttstock with balance a hand polished patina. Mechanics are fine, bright shiny bore with scattered light pitting. (2) Cal. 32 WCF (32-20). SN 361735. Blued finish, special order 26” oct bbl, replacement Sheard front sight & std rear sight, sgl set trigger, crescent butt, smooth walnut stock. CONDITION: Fair. No orig finish remains, metal is a brown patina. Substantial sanding marks on both sides of receiver & wood. Battered sideplate screw. Wood retains no orig finish, has been re-varnished. Set trigger needs adjusting, otherwise mechanics are okay. Bore is moderately pitted but shiny. 4-57947 ET55 (2,000-3,000)
