RARE WINCHESTER PAPER POSTER. Advertising 1897 pump shotgun with “Winchester” stylized trademark at the top and a model 1897 pump shotgun intertwined with “96.77%”. The central portion of the poster depicts a gentleman in a turn of the 20th Century sporting outfit carrying an 1897 shotgun and is titled with information regarding Charles G. Spencer and stating that he was the interstate association’s official high average winner for 1908, breaking 10,815 out of 11,175 targets. The bottom panel states that “7 out of the first 9 men in 1908 shot red W shotguns or shotgun shells.” SIZE: 22-3/4” h x 14-1/4” w. CONDITION: Very dark and faded with water damage on both edges with several small scrapes and a small cut with tack holes around edges. JR 1-7014 (1,000-2,000)
